The world's first desktop continuous carbon fibre 3D printer
FibreSeeker 3 (探索者 3) brings continuous carbon fibre printing out of the industrial workshop and onto your desk. Using FibreSeek's patented Composite Fibre Co-extrusion (CFC) technology, dry continuous carbon fibre is impregnated with liquid polymer in real time as it feeds into the printhead, forming a pre-impregnated strand that is co-extruded alongside standard thermoplastic filament. The continuous fibre carries structural load along engineered paths inside the part — much like steel rebar in concrete — so strength goes exactly where you need it.
Why continuous fibre beats chopped fibre
Short carbon fibre dispersed in filament stops at the pellet. Continuous fibre runs the full length of the load path, which is why parts printed on the FibreSeeker 3 reach up to 900 MPa tensile strength — roughly ten times conventional FFF. Parts that used to be machined from aluminium can now be printed in a day, at a fraction of the cost and with almost no waste.
Key specifications
- Build volume: 300 × 300 × 245 mm — large enough for drone frames, brackets and tooling
- Max print speed: 500 mm/s (FFF mode)
- Patented dual-nozzle system: one hot-end for standard FDM, one for continuous fibre — switch within a single job
- 65 °C actively heated chamber: dimensional accuracy on large parts, less warping
- Automatic bed levelling and calibration: no manual tuning for a perfect first layer
- Integrated monitoring camera: real-time view plus automatic time-lapse of every build
- Supported plastics: PLA, PETG, PC, PA — not locked into proprietary nylon
- Rocket Slicer Suite: analyses part geometry and proposes reinforcement paths, with Speedy / Reinforced / Fortified modes
- Device weight: 32 kg net (approx. 40 kg with packaging)
What you can print
Lightweight brackets and mounts, robotics links, drone frames, jigs and fixtures, tooling jaws, end-use functional parts. The sweet spot is medium-to-large structural components where stiffness and strength matter in the X and Y axes. A reviewer recently printed a spring-action carabiner in clear PETG with minimal fibre reinforcement and it held 20 kg on a tiny hook — on the lowest reinforcement setting.
Where CFC is not the answer
Continuous fibre does not like tight bends, and the coated-fibre extrusion path is thicker than plain FDM. Tiny parts with narrow hooks are a poor fit, and print times run longer than high-speed FDM because the machine parks, cuts, switches nozzles and purges between layers. This is not a general-purpose printer — it is a production tool for load-bearing composite parts.
