- Layer adhesion. Snap a test bar. If it shatters along layer lines rather than deforming, your temperature or flow is off.
- Detail retention. Print fine lettering and sharp corners. This is where an inconsistent melt shows up first.

What PLA+ is actually for
PLA+ is a modified polylactic acid: same easy printing behaviour as standard PLA, with additives that improve impact resistance and layer adhesion. It is the right default for the majority of work — brackets, enclosures, display models, jigs, classroom parts. It prints at moderate temperatures, smells mild, and does not demand an enclosure.
