Storage Solutions

Printing from a Dryer

Quick Diagnostic Test

Suspect wet filament? Extrude ~200 mm at normal printing temperature and watch the nozzle. If you see or hear steam bubbles, your filament needs drying. For a quantitative check, weigh the spool before and after drying - a weight loss of 2-8 grams indicates significant absorbed moisture.
