Silk PLA vs Dual Silk: Creating Stunning 3D Prints with Special Effects

Transform Your Prints with Silk Filaments

Silk PLA filaments have taken the 3D printing world by storm with their lustrous, glossy finish. But what about Dual Silk? Let's explore both.

What Is Silk PLA?

Silk PLA contains special additives that create a silky, pearlescent sheen on printed parts. Prints look post-processed straight off the build plate. Perfect for decorative items, jewelry, and display models.

What Is Dual Silk?

Dual Silk combines two colors in a single filament. As you print, the color gradually transitions, creating a multi-colored effect. Each print becomes unique. Our ANTINSKY Dual Colors Silk PLA offers over 19 stunning color combinations for truly one-of-a-kind prints.

Printing Tips

  • Temperature: 205-225°C (slightly lower than standard PLA)
  • Speed: 40-60mm/s for best surface quality
  • Layer Height: 0.12-0.20mm for optimal sheen
  • Storage: Keep dry — Silk filaments are hygroscopic
